Problem after CachyUpdate

After CachyUpdate and restart when I try to check the updates again i get:

==> Looking for updates…

==> ERROR: Cannot fetch updates==> No update available

==> No orphan package found

pacsort: error while loading shared libraries: libalpm.so.15: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directorypacsort: error while loading shared libraries: libalpm.so.15: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory==> No old or uninstalled cached package found

==> No pending kernel update found

==> Press “enter” to quit

I have the same error. Just updated and now it throws this error when I open Cachy-Update.

had the same problem. seems to be fixed after running octopi and updating the pacman-contrib package, which was noted as not up to date. (sorry, rather new to arch-based linux, so i don’t know the command line version to do this)

I just updated and received no errors.

maybe it was just a problem of updating while pacman-contrib update wasn’t in repo yet?

this fixed it for me, the one in cachy-extra-znver4 is not up to date

Same here, i’ve trier the solution of buetzel, but nothing and when i want update with Octopy, it’s say 0 mb :’)

I don’t know how to deal with unknown keys in local database neither does the updater…

It’s because my MacBook isn’t v3 compatible. Everything else is working fine.

Hi there, I have the same problem. Updating pacman.contrib with octopi didn’t work for me. Any other solution please?

Try ALPM:

sudo pacman -Syu

updating system this way works but when running Cachy OS update - the pacsort error persists.

New to Cachy OS. I’m not entirely sure about the differences between the 2 . I assumed that the Cachy OS update runs “sudo pacman -Syu” script. Is that right?

My solution … In terminal, enter, rate-mirrors and then run, sudo pacman -Syyu

error is gone.

Nope.

We might be getting the error for different reasons. I usually check mirrors if an update runs into problems, and it seem to work for me. Will the error return at some point, ??

From octopi, install pacman-contrib versions 1.13.1-2.1 from the cachyos repository.
The cachyos-extra-v3 repository is not yet updated, and the pacman -Syu command will indicate this.

Confirmed. Update pacman-contrib through Octopi (from cachyos repository). After that I run cachyupdate, updated pacman through cachyupdate and error is gone.
