Finally installd CachyOS with the LTS kernel on that desktop after some recent hell attempting to install this kernel ;
As with all my installs, I did some tweaks here & there as well as add/removed apps;

Switched to KDE
Now need to find a good way to make the panel look better with more rounded corners and better transparency
