Recently installed cachyos along side my bazzite install. I was looking to transfer my bazzite plasma desktop over to cachyos using konsave. After installing I receive the following error. Both OS are installed on the same drive.

I hate to do this kinda thing, especially for my own stuff, but .. there is an alternative;
The main thing I see issue with is that the packagelist functions only work between Arch/pacman distros.
But it would be able to copy and apply plasma configs and addons and such in $HOME and as far as I know supports more than konsave.
I actually found the solution to the issue.
It appears the setup tools for konsave didn’t get installed, when I initially installed konsave.
Entering - pipx inject konsave setuptools
Forced it to install the setup tools and konsave worked perfectly fine afterwards.
You might have also been in luck because it was about 3 days ago that they ‘modernized for plasma 6’ .. after not changing any of the kde/plasma paths since 2022 (it still is not very much really).
I am glad you got it working though .. and arguably not even trivially either so kudos.
