Dual boot cachyos various issues with systemd-boot

HI,

After installing windows 11, I have issues installing latest cachyos iso in dual boot with systemd-boot.

If I try to install with first option after the first restart done by cachyos, boot is stuck with the cursor at the top (not blinking). Holding the shutdown button on the laptop will force the logs of the boot process to show, but shutdown signal already stopped the installation.

If I try to install with second option I pass the boot screen and I can proceed. I choose manual partition and after I create two partitions btrfs and fat32 with respective / and /boot mount points, installation wont finishing and no apps are installed, pacman, octopus etc…

Br,

Did you add boot flag to the fat32 partition? Please follow this guide. If installation files, send the log.

@naim
Yes it’s created fat32 with /boot mount and /boot partition.
For me still the first option not working and I’m getting black screen, and no shortcut key can make the installer continue and I’m still on that screen.
Secon option is fine for installing cachyos, but I need more housekeeping as I get bit of a laggish experience, but not that terrible after few tweaks…

For some reason after successful dual boot and mounting windows efi bootloader to mnt everything went well, until I’ve tried to merge two unallocated partitions to one, even I’ve discarded everything the tool done his damager and I’ve get two windows boot managers and breaks the linux one.

Tried completely from scratch, windows then linux and everything is fine now.
Closing this ticket but I can open the one for the first option.
