Zsh and cachyos-config and others

Why does CachyOS-Zsh-Config install Vim? Seriously, why doesn’t CachyOS respect Emacs users?!

{ Vim? Please! It’s like trying to fight a dragon with a toothpick! Emacs is the sword of legends, while Vim is just a rusty old dagger. Level up your editing game! }

[Don’t take this too seriously—just having fun. But it would be great if CachyOS removed Vim as a dependency.]

666 users: still fighting with toothpicks! :rofl:

Because ‘vi’ is simpler and so many of us learned to use it long long ago in the dark ages?

Not that bad point. Next time i will use better ones!

I would like to know why all the zsh stuff is included if the system uses fish by default. :thinking:

because it’s cachyOs and not emacs. emacs is a different and independent OS^^

it’s a leftover from previous reeases, i guess

Its included so that users can change the shell to zsh and it has same config as in fish.
