Only default znver4 Kernel available in Kernel Manager.
Where are the others?
Hey,
we had an issue in the recent update of the kernels and immeditltly removed all compiled kernels.
Since im currently not at home, I can not debug the issue down.
Currently, it will fallback to the non optimized kernel and the default kernel is available. We need to test first, where the issue is coming from.
Thanx for the explanations @ptr1337 , it shed lights to some previous missing versions then.
Hi @ptr1337 ,
does this also explains my phenomena?
I have installed the sched-ext kernel and LTS kernel in addition to the standard kernel. I get this message with ‘sudo pacman -Syu’ :
Warnung: linux-cachyos-lts: Lokale Version (6.6.51-1) ist neuer als cachyos (6.6.50-1)
Warnung: linux-cachyos-lts-headers: Lokale Version (6.6.51-1) ist neuer als cachyos (6.6.50-1)
Warnung: linux-cachyos-lts-nvidia-open: Lokale Version (6.6.51-1) ist neuer als cachyos (6.6.50-1)
- Es gibt nichts zu tun*
In the Kernel Manager I also don’t see the lts kernel as installed (anymore):
I can boot and start the system with all three kernels.
system, I have just updated everything again.
thanks a lot
Yes, correct. Should be now solved, besides LTS.
