My WiFi won’t connect on my Mac book pro 2015 A1502. It keeps saying configuring interface but then asks for password again after 20 secs. I can’t continue setup without internet.
Thanks, Ill try these commands from that link:
sudo mkdir -p /tmp/apple-wifi-efi
sudo mount /dev/nvme0n1p1 /tmp/apple-wifi-efi
Not that one… It’s the iwd part, sorry for not clarifying.
I tried a few commands to get it work to no avail. It might be easier to to get a WiFi usb adaptor for install then update the system then maybe it will work with the old drivers being updated. Currently using Ubuntu but I want to try switching to cachyOS as I have it on my gaming PC no issues. I think it may run faster than Ubuntu on the Mac book pro 13 inch Early 2015 A1502
I can’t work it out. Do you know what I have to type command wise to try and fix it.
If you can, use your smartphone as a hotspot.
Yes I tired that as it worked on a previous distro I tried but I get the same issue. Well I did a WiFi hotspot from it not sure if I can plug it in as one like I’ve seen. I have Samsung 24 FE I have heard you can do it with iPhones but I don’t have one.
Tethering should work with every smartphone.
Thanks man. I have used a usb ASUS wifi dongle now and got it on.
I gave up and put Ubuntu back on it as it supports everything apart from the camera out if the box. I have been trying all day to get the WiFi and Bluetooth working to no avail. I still have catchyOS on my gaming PC.
