When will KDE Plasma 6.7 land on CachyOS mirrors?

Hello CachyOS Team and Community,

I hope you’re all doing well. I noticed that KDE Plasma 6.7 was officially released upstream on June 16, and I’m really excited to try out the new features.

I’ve run a full system update on my machine, but I am still on Plasma 6.6.5, and my local mirrors don’t seem to be picking up the 6.7 packages yet.

Are the new Plasma packages currently being built or undergoing testing in the staging repositories, or is this just a standard mirror synchronization delay?

Hi. I’ve already updated my KDE to 6.7 one or two days ago via the official CachyOS updater.

What is the current configuration?

As others have mentioned - the 6.7 upgrade has been out for at least a day or more.


As to all other questions about “when will XYZ be available?” - the answer can generally be assumed to be “when it is ready”. :wink:

Upgrade went flawlessly for me as well. I saw that they “resurrected” 2 themes (“oxygen” and “air”) that I wanted to try out but they are not available in the settings in global themes. Also in the “get new” search I can’t seem to find them. What am I missing?

Appreciate any hints. :slight_smile:

Hands up everybody: who did the upgrade to 6.7? I’m currently a bit scared because of some of the things I heard so far…

There are no problems here. Neither on the Mac, the ThinkPad, nor on the monitors. Of course, I can only speak for myself.

I guess I’m lucky, since I’ve been spared all those problems so far.

Fine for me so far. I’ve had at least a day of work (can’t remember if I got the update Thursday or Friday) on my PC, did some gaming on it yesterday, and have had it on my laptop a couple of days too (although that’s basically just been web browsing).

Wasn’t the oxygen theme supposed to be included in 6.7? I can’t see it

Oh, I could’ve thought of that :face_with_peeking_eye:

Edit: I hate it and went back to my default theme immediately, lol but still thanks for pointing out how to get it
