leaving the field blank does not work. The password “live” does not work. Selecting either the default cachyos option or the nvidia open drivers option does not work in the grub menu. Entering the user root with a blank password does not work either in this overlay screen. I am able to get to a command line interface by clicking ctrl + alt + f2 and am able to login in as root with a blank password. I am using Windows 10 hyper-v and created a VM for CachyOS. I have successfully created an Ubuntu VM with no issues with windows 10 and hyper-v. Is CachyOS compatible with running on a VM? If so, is it possible that there is something “off” with the latest .iso file? The issue appears to be related to this “overlay” screen that the initial cachyOS setup is defaulting to before fully loading. I watched a dozen or so youtube videos on people setting up CachyOS. None of them had this liveuser overlay screen before getting to the actual CachyOS config screen where you setup a username/password etc…
