There are some pretty aggressive tones from folks making these complaints though.

If using virtual machine Change the Session to wayland.
And regardless of how many hundreds of distros you have used (good grief) it continues to be true that the use of Cachy with virtual machines falls outside the normal use-case as one of the main purposes of Cachy is its architecture-optimized repos/packages.
For my part .. I am surprised the session defaults to Xorg, and was also similarly surprised to find that the deprecated synaptics is included and used by default. I would be of the opinion that both these should be changed .. which could also be expected to effectively end this problem.
