what Distro do you run alongside cachyOS
and which is your main daily driver ?
main distro here is ARCH with fluxbox-wm, no games and very little software.
on a second pc is Siduction and Debian12 btrfs (timeshift-snaps) in dual-boot

I’ve been on road with a double decker coach with a lot of passengers

any experiences with that distro ?
CachyOS is my daily driver. I only heard about it around the end of last year and installed it in January this year alongside my Arch install which I had been daily driving for several years.
I made the switch from Arch to Cachy as main around May of this year and am super happy with the way it performs.
I still use OpenSUSE Tumbleweed on and off I just wish it’s package manager was faster. It’s a fun system to play with.
I pretty much stick with any Arch based distro as it’s what I have most fun using.
I am currently playing around with “Neptune” a Debian based distro from a German team.
Also have tried out Nobara again with it’s latest release, it performs alright but I’m not overly impressed with it.
I don’t currently have a personal Windows install yet so I need to get around to that as well.
yeah the developers live in KĂ–LN, nearby my location.
I had a look at it some month ago, but plasma is not my favorit

Jokes aside, I finished my own Linux today: DonkeyOS. DonkeyOS is identical to CachyOS, with the difference that it only has donkey pictures as wallpapers.
I’m also working on MeltingOS and Frozen Linux. But I still have thermal problems with both.

Use CachyOS for gaming / web browsing, as well as TempleOS for when I need a more spiritual OS.
Main distro for me is openSUSE AEON then I have second laptop Kali purple with Kali offensive tools on it. Third have at this moment CachyOS and popOS cosmic alpha installed for testing and for fun

Actually, none. My main T480 setup works perfectly with CachyOS KDE. My backup laptop X270 is installed with CachyOS Xfce. Both have separate disks with Windows just in case of emergency.
Manjaro healed my distrohopping long time ago and later on i found Cachy OS. OSes novadays are mature enough to just use it and enjoy it, i don’t know. Somehow these easy to use arch systems stopped my inner urge to search for something more.
I have been looking at another OSes (including Endeavour, Debian, Tumbleweed, Nobara, Fedora, Mx Linux, Mint and many others), before i switched to COS, but they didn’t convince. Most of them i tried myself - installed to separate disk just for testing and doing my things - some rejected after loading live session.
Yeah, that took some time, but i have no doubt now. Also, i like tinker my KDE setup or browser here and there, and it takes lots of time to do that alone, not even talking about trying to adapt to new system.
I think i’d like to see, how popOS new DE looks like, if it’s worthy to try.
debian,fedora and this is not a distro but windows 11 Debian and fedora from a usb incase i wanted to package a software for rpm or deb

My side project runs CachyOS Hardened.
My game system runs CachyOS Handheld.
