I was reinstalling CashyOS with my new motherboard a MSI X870E Carbon but the display driver was popping off display disconnected errors and freezing every few time for about 30 seconds in the installer. It’s a cable matters hub with 4 display outs.
Does KDE just not like MST hubs over USB 4 C? I know Gnome hate my 6 monitor setup but I had it working perfect on my MSI X670E tomahawk, it had a DP and a HDMI, the new one only has a HDMI and two USB 4’s with DisplayPort out.
On a side note my windows boot manger somehow made it’s way over to my old CachyOS install so I gotta fix that also. which is why I didn’t reinstall CachyOS since it would make windows unbootable. I just love windows so much. Probably why my CachyOS is not showing up in the boot menu in my BIOS.
Anyways if anyone knows if I can fix the issue that would be great.
