First, CachyOS works fine. Then, pacman
and pkgbuilder
start complaining during updates that “no space left on device” despite more than 60 GB being free. Then later, the system can no longer boot, saying “A start job is running for /dev/disk/by-uuid/…” and failing after 1:30.
This is the second time this has happened to me. In between, I even got a different SSD before reinstalling because I thought that was the issue. The first time I used f2fs
, the second time I tried bcachefs
, it makes no difference. Why does this happen and how do you recover the system from this?
