Hi, newbie here.
I have a C49RG9 Samsung monitor which support 5120x1440 resolution, however it does not appear in Display configuration. The highest available is 3840x1080.

Are you using HDMI 2.x? Do you have an AMD card?

I have a 2080 Ti using DP 1.4
I looked around and ran “xrandr”. The result showed a bunch of different resolutions up to 3840x1080.
“cvt” shows the 5210x1440 though. I found a suggestion on adding a new mode with desired resolution & frequency and applying it, but it resulted in a black screen lol.
Ok, I was able to make it work.
