Touchpad-indicator-git Installation Error

While trying to install touchpad-indicator-git with yay, I get an error saying that install failed due to the below output:

==> Starting package()...
install: cannot stat 'bin/*': No such file or directory
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
    Aborting...
 -> error making: touchpad-indicator-git-exit status 4
 -> Failed to install the following packages. Manual intervention is required:
touchpad-indicator-git - exit status 4

Any help in correcting this error would be greatly appreciated.

I think the only help you’ll get will be from the(AUR) package maintainer sorry. Just tried installing it and got the same error.

You can download the app and manually run it, just tried and it works - although it couldn’t disable my trackpad…

Edit - sorry, to clarify, the problem is with the installation script in the AUR package, not Cachy.

Okay, thanks. I didnt think it was an issue with CachyOS itself. I thought maybe I was missing something that my install needed or there was an issue with the repo.
