Today's update speeds up an already fast boot even more. Nice!

CachyOS’s boot time is second to none but a little while ago, I updated and noticed that the PC booted even faster than usually.

From the time I press OK on the systemd bood screen, it takes a six-year old gaming pc 9 seconds to display the log in screen. I have never seen anything like this before (and I have seen a lot)! :slight_smile:

The only upgrade I have done is replace the default HD with a Samsung EVO 970 NVME SSD.

If you boot an SSD, you save the “HDD Memorial Minute” :sweat_smile:

regardless of the OS or Distro, a SSD always work faster as a HDD;
that is due to the structure
