Update: In France now to avaiable with local Mirror

We have mainly pushed it because there a security issues in 560 and there wont come from NVIDIA a security release, outside of 565.

See:
“CVE‑2024‑0126 - “NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability which could allow a privileged attacker to escalate permissions. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering.” If you’re on driver versions 565.57.01, 550.127.05, 535.216.01 or later you’re secure. Otherwise, you should probably go and update. So that explains the tiny one-liner update I covered for the 550.127.05 release yesterday along with the 565.57.01 Beta that was also released at the same time.”

Hi guys,
is it possible that there is some kind of dependency mismatch? I try to install
sudo pacman -S linux-cachyos-headers linux-cachyos-nvidia-open nvidia-utils lib32-nvidia-utils nvidia-settings

And everytime I get

UnerfĂŒllbare AbhĂ€ngigkeit »nvidia-utils=560.35.03«, benötigt von lib32-nvidia-utils

And I completely uninstalled those packages before reinstalling them

sync your mirrors.

Sorry my bad. After adding cachyos-v3/ in front of all packages erverything installed fine🙈

Looks like this driver has issues resuming from sleep. Is anyone else experiencing a black screen when they try to resume?

I have that issue, but it started in the last Nvidia driver release I think. Need to check what version in running

Unfortunately, the version is very buggy. A few DX12 games that I tried are unplayable due to “vertex explosion” issue. Oh, well
 nVidia doing nVidia thing

Yes, we know. But we wont keep our users vulernable, and downgrading to version 550 would be even worse, due missing a lot of features.
