Switch SSD from USB to SATA

Hello,

I have installed CachyOS on an SSD connected via USB to give it a try. I set everything up there for just under a week until I was halfway able to game and work. I have now installed the SSD in the PC via SATA, but now it no longer boots or the boot manager is no longer visible in the UEFI. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I have tried it from a USB stick on which I have installed CachyOS, where I wanted to try to restore the bootloader. But that didn’t work because i was not able to install anything. Can anyone help or give me a tip?

The device name will have changed.

I somehow managed to do it myself. Was able to install rEFInd on a USB stick and was able to boot ChachyOS again and reinstall the bootloader. I didn’t realize at first that I could install rEFInd itself as a bootable stand-alone solution on an USB stick. As soon as I started it, CachyOS was immediately displayed. This actually simple thing took me 5 days. I was about to install Windows again. Getting started with Linux is hard
