Swap question help!

I install my system in auto when question about partition and i see my swap not exist, i have 32GB of memory ram and never use hibernation. why the swap not exist? Is because the CachyOs use Zram???

i read many docs about that and some talks the swap is important and others talks is not when i have more than 16gb ram and not use hibernation, soo confused please help.

you don’t need a swap-partition except you want hibernation

  • then it should be about 2GB more than RAM

what means that zram??? its like swap???

CachyOS does use zram, yes. We do not use nor provide the swap option.
