Unity is available in Arch, and provides an official flavor for Ubuntu, and community spins for Manjaro and Gentoo. CachyOS should be able to include this too.

Is it possible for you to open a feature request ticket in Issues · CachyOS/distribution · GitHub?
Like Sunda-spirit said you can choose the no desktop option at install and install it manually from arch repos.

Oh, I just realized that CachyOS is not immutable. I thought it was like Bazzite.
