Steam "top navigation" randomly missing

Hello there,

I have a random issue with Steam. Sometimes, when launching Steam, the top navigation (and the bottom one with Add a game - Manage Downloads - Friends & Chat) is missing.

Hovering it will still display the related menu, if I exit and then open it again it usually works again.

At first I thought it was an issue with the latest Steam Beta but it does the same without the beta.

I am not sure it’s an issue with CachyOS but maybe some of you had the same problem?

Operating System: CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.26.0
Qt Version: 6.11.0
Kernel Version: 7.0.5-2-cachyos (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor
Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (31,1 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER
Manufacturer: ASUS

Having the same issue and can’t seem to resolve it. The top bar will pop back up if you hover to a window corner and adjust it when your mouse turns into a sizing arrow. Sometimes though Steam pops open so wide, that I can’t adjust it, and exiting/restarting doesn’t work so I have to restart my pc. Hope this issue gets resolved.

I found a workaround, you can just focus on Steam and press Meta + Left or Right and the top bar will come back. It also works if you try to find the Maximize icon because the bar is still present even tough it’s invisible, but it’s easier with keyboard shortcut.
