Steam Game Cs2 wont start

Hi,

i am new here. Just installing cachyos and Steam of course.
I tried to start CS2 it just shows the VALVE Logo and go back to Desktop.
I tried wayland and also x11 both with plasma.

Thats what i get:

After this now its Cs2 starts

It seems to be that was due arch changes in the buildflags with the -fno-framepointer (same issue why steam was broken)

Glad that it got fixed.

If you have default enabled Above 4G Decoding and default Auto Resizable BAR like I do with this Gigabyte board, also check that CSM hasn’t enabled itself, since it will disable Resizable BAR. Gigabyte enables CSM by default now, too, so you have that to look forward to on every BIOS upgrade and/or CMOS reset.

Oh, that’s what you meant, it was being pushed in the -rc package. I’ll build one tonight and test it, but I don’t know if I have any perfect reproducers for the original conditions. Mostly attempting to play Fall Guys with Direct3D 11 (somehow VKD3D wrapping it with forced D3D12 didn’t exhibit the problems as often.)

It is already in the RC kernel - you can check it with:
