Some notifications (pop outs) won't close automatically (old bug)

Notifications won’t disappear automatically after some time. This started happening after new updates (on both PCs). Now, I have to manually click x with mouse. How to fix this? Thank you for replies.

Same here on three different rigs, three different distros. CachyOS on a laptop, Debian SID on a laptop, and EndeavourOS on my PC. So it doesn’t seem to be a distro issue. Must be KDE Plasma itself.

Edit:

Strange, it doesn’t matter what the notification is for. They all stay unless manually closed.

For me, timeshift notifications are closing normally. Some notifications work, some not. Will wait and see…

This has been an ongoing issue with plasma. It also happen when you remove widgets. Instead of saying say 10 seconds to give you the chance to restore if you want it just stays open til you close the popup.

I’ve also noticed that and posted log messages here:

This seems to only affect notifications that display some kind of progress (e. g. downloads, file operations, etc.)?

This is a Qt bug

System update fixed notifications.
