You don’t have to wipe to do grub. For example, originally I was using grub, but I started having some issues. Then I installed limine and it was claiming my config was wrong, so then I tried refind and eventually back to limine. And yes limine and refind can do snapshots as well. Grub is generally the easiest and most used.
