Shutdown Countdown / Login Screen Gnome

Hello,

Sometimes at the login screen on Gnome when booting, it’s just completely grey unless I alt+f4 into terminal then back to F1, and happening more frequently, the shutdown timer does nothing when it reaches 0 and I cannot safely shutdown my pc, not even the shutdown button works. I have reinstalled cachyos recently and these two issues persist… unsure where to begin on how to go about looking into this. Anyone experience this?

I’ve solved the shutdown button issue on Gnome, the issue was the extension caffeine, I don’t think that is a feature of the extension it’s just a bug, still haven’t figured out the login screen issue though
