While watching videos, I’ve noticed that everything freezes when Cachy-Update shows that Limine is doing something right by the end of the update. Is the freeze normal and necessary?
It happens when “Executando hooks pós-transação…“ appears.
Happens at 30 seconds:
Is this a serious question? Aren’t you the same guy that worried about the speed cuda downloaded at?
I’ve search for “cuda” and “nvidia” among my topics, and there was nothing.
I assume the person from that topic was a developer that would be capable of knowing exactly why this stutter happens?
Well stop and think about it for a second. You don’t need to be a developer to realize you don’t have a quantum pc were everything is instant. Consider your cpu speed and the fact that it’s writing to fat32 /boot. It’s nothing to be worried about.
Except that as the recorded example shows, this happens without having Steam running a triple A game or Firefox with multiple 4K videos playing at the same time. The Terminal by itself can cause the stutter.
So it must be only because it’s writing to a fat32 /boot instead of a cpu limitation.
