Second monitor turns on and off

I have just installed the OS over the weekend and noticed a wierd bug, the second monitor keeps going black for a few seconds almost after every action I do on the first monitor, it could be anything, turning on an app, typing a command in terminal, anything.

one fix that sometimes works is to disable and then enable the display.

However once the PC is locked and then I re-login the problem comes back

Hi!

Have you tried to change the adaptive sync to “never” on both monitors and apply? (system settings → display & monitor, if you want VRR try always instead (if you have automatic)

You could also try to lower from 165Hz to 144Hz and see if that removes the issue.
