As per the title, I saw the message on discord by @ptr1337 about this new feature added to pacman. Does it really worth it to enable this sandbox thingy?

Is Discord the official place for announcements? I saw something there about pacman and sandboxing, but couldn’t find a similar announcement on any of the Matrix sites or the main website or this forum.
