RTX 5070 GPU crashing regularly

Hi guys, i recently installed CachyOS to switch from windows.
Unfortunately my screen regularly freezes while using it.
Seems like the GSP is crashing.
I can still access it via ssh, but could only fix it by rebooting.
I couldn’t really find any useful info online.

Thanks for any help

My 2060 GSP crashes were fixed by moving to 580xx drivers

The monitor supports DP 1.4 with DSC. On Windows it works fine.
I will try 120Hz and report it here

did u fixed it ?

I have a 40xx gpu. it would crash on the regular. black screen. fans would pin to max. reboot was the only fix. my gpu has a mode switch. i switched it from “power” to “quiet” and that fixed the issue. not sure if yours has that option, but that is what worked for me.

Seems like to be fixed now, because it didn’t happen again since then, on both 120 and 240Hz.

Only thing I did was “pacman -Syu“.

There still is some DDC/CI issue on standby, which doesn’t seem to be related.
