Raytracing Nvidia GPU

I use an rtx card but some games especially RE Engine games don’t recognize that i have a raytracing capable card and i cant turn it on ingame.

Does someone know how to fix it?

I have the latest drivers and always do the cachyos updates.

You can try to set
%command% /WineDetectionEnabled:False
in your steam game’s boot options to enable raytracing. But for me, the RE game freezes with ray tracing enabled.

Thanks, but it freezes for me too, already when booting the game

For me proton-cachyos-10.0-20260410-slr-x86_64_v4 is working, but without raytracing.
Enabling raytracing will freeze the game if i move my character. Also on a RTX 5080.
You can try this game boot options:

PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_USE_NTSYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 PROTON_DLSS_UPGRADE=1 %command%
