Randomly rebooting during use

i installed cachyos on my laptop like 2 days ago and something i noticed was that it sometimes just randomly rebooted without warning, i cannot seem to replicate it

it happened most of the time [like 2 or 3 times] while i was in a zoom call and once when i was just casually browsing.

its getting a bit obnoxious now

I don’t see an obvious cause of the crash. Does this include a crash, i.e. from the previous boot?

Are you running on battery or mains power when this happens?

Hi! This sounds like it could be an overheating issue (Thermal Throttling).

Zoom calls can be very resource-intensive on a laptop, causing the hardware to heat up quickly. When the CPU reaches a critical temperature, the laptop will automatically reboot or shut down instantly without warning to protect itself from damage.

You might want to monitor your temperatures while on a call to see if they are spiking too high.

It looks like there is a newer version available for your G513QC, BIOS version 335. I would try that first and see if it solves the instabilities.
