Hi all,
Kwin and Plasma now have its own package for a X11 Session. These do not depend on any of the current installed plasma packages, therefore this needs to be installed manually. If you still using the X11 Session then please run:
sudo pacman -Syu plasma-x11-session
After that reboot your system.

Thank you. I finally figured out that all the issues with my Wacom Intuos come from Wayland. It’s great for a rookie like me that you made this mention, much appreciated. Now that I am using the X session, the tablet configuration is complete, and all the debilitating issues relating to pointer misbehaving, disappearing, etc. are gone. Fantastic!
Note : when trying out the liveCD, I was in an X session. I thought this would be the same once installed and was surprised to realize I was in Wayland. I would say it’s maybe a good idea to include it by default for people like me who rely on a Wacom tablet to navigate and work (and for consistency with the liveCD experience).
