I can’t launch any software/games with cachyos-proton or proton-ge-custom however Proton 9.0-3 works flawlessly. This is a clean install on a computer I just built (Ryzen 5 9600x, RX 7900XT)

Exactly the same problem. Same video card and processor. Proton-GE works, Proton Experimental works, Proton-cachyos can’t run any game.
As per this reddit thread and Protondb, the specific game you are launching seems to have some issues. But other games should be working fine. Have you installed umu-launcher for Proton-GE to be working? There are some games where proton experimental (Proton-GE and Proton-Cachyos uses this branch) breaks the game.Try on a simple game and let’s see what happens. Proton-cachyos and Proton-Ge (latest - lutris) are both working for me out of box without any modifications in steam and lutris respectively.
Ah ok you are correct, other games launch with proton-cachyos/proton-ge perfectly fine. I have installed glibc-eac-bin and the Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime so I’m not sure why those proton versions don’t work for this game
