Proton CachyOS v4 works better for me for some reason, in most games i get like smooth and seamless latency and the game doesnt feel like its laggin when i turn my camera, i have a 9800X3D and a 9070 XT with a PG32UCDMR, does anyone know why is that?, that in the V4 version i get better experience than in V3? cuz in the V3 version i get lags when i move the camera like it feels like is not smooth even if i have the same fps.
why did you changed from v4 recommended by installer to v3 is beyond me
V4 no longer exists in Proton CachyOS 11
There is no V3 on Proton CachyOS 11 so i had to go back to older version

There are different version of Proton CachyOS that you can find in ProtonUp-QT
why not just use the version in the repo? To answer your question, you have a 9800x3d, that’s why it offers version 4 of packages. You’re complaining that the version for your hardware runs better than an version not really for your hardware?
I still don’t know what you are talking about, but there is a v4, and the latest.
