Problem mounting NTFS hard drive

i know it is better not to use NTFS, but i need to use it across windows and linux. i could not replace my data any ways. and i also know there are posts related to this issue here and elsewhere. but one rather odd thing about my situation is that, every time i run into this problem:
“Error mounting /dev/sda1 at /run/media/juan/Almacen_Fractal: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error“ i just remove it and connect it to my android phone. my phone mounts it with no issues at all. then i connect it to my laptop again, and wouldnt you know, cachyos now can mount it and its ready to use. but after one or two reconnects, i again run into the same issue. again, plug it to my phone, eject, plug it to cachy, everything works. now it is really fraustrating to do this every time, so if anyone has any idea what on gods green earth is going on, please share.

How do you mount the drive? Please post your /etc/fstab here and maybe we can help.

generally its caused by mounting the drive again in Windows. You can use $ntfsfix /dev/sda1 -d to clear the “dirty” flag
