Hi,
Can someone recommend a free video game text logo maker for Linux or online?
We were using Microsoft Office 365 Publisher and getting sorta OK results,
but the above desktop publishing application is EOL and being removed from Office 365 soon.
(We run genuine Windows 11 Pro in a VirtualBox VM on Linux)
We really need something that would give better results for our new game project…

We really liked the “WordArt” in MS Office 365 Publishers.
We looked at LibreOffice Fresh Draw, but the “FontWork” is less powerful.
Both Gimp and Inkscape are too complicated to use for us…
Tried A.I. image generation, but it was giving undesirable results.
Any suggestions?
Inkscape really does sound like what you’re looking for. If you find it to be too complicated there are some nice tutorials available:

Dirge is right. Inkscape is what you are looking for and the tutorials by LogosByNick are perfect. In fact, I made my HC logo after watching one of his tutorials
