OpenRGB won't detect devices

Heyo. I’ve got a laptop with a built-in RGB keyboard (and lights on the back), as well as a mouse with lights (though whether those can be changed is debatable). The main point is the keyboard. I’ve installed OpenRGB with pacman, but it gives me this on boot:

I’m not sure what loading a module is, and I’m not sure how to have it permanently loaded if it’s something I have to do manually. Any idea what to do about this?

It’s a built-in laptop keyboard, KDE Plasma, though I’m not sure how that’s relevant. I tried following the guide here but that didn’t accomplish anything. If ran in terminal, there are multiple lines saying [i2c_smbus_linux] Failed to read i2c device PCI device ID

Likely, sudo modprobe i2c-dev should fix it.

where did you install openrgb?

Nope, doesn’t help at all…

Just via pacman, as I think I should
