Hi!
I installed a fresh CachyOS on my Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 1 (Intel 10th Gen) today. Previously, I was using Pop!_OS on it and had the same issue, which I partially worked around by blacklisting SOF and using the older driver. I have no sound at all. aplay -l shows no soundcards found, and pactl list short sinks only shows auto_null. The system detects the audio device (lspci shows Intel Corporation 400 Series Chipset Family On-Package HD Audio), but it’s not usable.
SOF is loaded but fails to start.
[ 5.434511] sof-audio-pci-intel-cnl 0000:00:1f.3: Firmware: ABI 3:22:1 Kernel ABI 3:23:1
aplay: device_list:279: no soundcards found…
53 auto_null PipeWire float32le 2ch 48000Hz SUSPENDED
Sorry for the silly question, but does the ABI mismatch mean that Lenovo has rendered my sound card unusable by not providing firmware updates? Honestly, I feel like the problem initially coincided with a firmware update, but that was a long time ago, and I might be mistaken. In the meantime, I also tried installing Windows and running the Intel ME update tool from Lenovo’s official website, but the sound card wasn’t visible there either.

I would be extremely grateful for any help and suggestions on what direction to take.
