Hello, I recently purchased a new DELL G2724D monitor. When I connected it to my Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05 laptop via HDMI 2.0, everything worked fine, and the display runs at 144Hz.
The monitor came with a USB-C to DisplayPort cable, which I used to connect the monitor instead of HDMI. Unfortunately, I get a message saying there is no signal from the device. The laptop has a USB-C port with DP 1.2 support, and the monitor supports DP 1.4, but they should be backward compatible.
In the monitor settings, it’s not possible to manually switch to DP 1.2. I’ve read that the graphics card should handle this automatically, but it appears it’s not doing so. How can I force the graphics card to output a signal through the USB-C port?
