Hello everyone,

Could someone please help me with the installation process?

Linux Treiber für cyberJack Chipkartenleser : REINER SCT Supportportal?

I tried to compile the source code version myself by reading the installation manual. The system finds the device with the lsusb command, but the pcsc_scan does not work.

you have to go in AUR
add yay or paru and base-devel

sudo pacman -S paru ( or yay) base-devel

then

yay -S cyberjack

or

paru -S cyberjack

I’ve created and installe a package with makepkg following this guide Arch User Repository - ArchWiki

Now:

❯ paru -Ss cyberjack
aur/pcsc-cyberjack 3.99.5_SP16-1 [+46 ~0.10] [Installiert]
PCSC Driver for Reiner SCT cyberjack Cardreaders

After install I had to start and enable the pcscd.service manually:

sudo systemctl start pcscd.service

sudo systemctl enable pcscd.service

The german AusweisApp works with REINER SCT cyberJack RFID standard.
