Monitor Sleep after Login - Wayland

I can’t load Catchyos today.
I boot to the login screen, enter password.
As soon as I enter the password in the screen goes into standby mode.
I can press ctrl+alt+f3 and go to a tty3 terminal instead of using the GUI login.
It results in the same thing though. As soon as I enter the password in, monitor immediately goes to sleep.
This is with Wayland KDE Plasma.
Nvidia 4090.
Intel 12700F.
If I switch to X11 then it loads to the desktop as it should.
I’ve tried the following whilst in the X11 desktop environment.

sudo rm -f /etc/profile.d/nvidia-rt3d-workaround.sh

I’m wondering if it’s something wrong with HDR or G-Sync. The problem is those options aren’t available in X11 so I can’t turn them off.
I’ve tried running a full system update in the terminal but no change.
Any help would be appreciated.
Should I try an older Kernel?

What happens when you switch back from the tty3 terminal to the graphical console?

I had the problem that the switch from the login manager (sddm) to the plasma graphical console did not work correctly and switching manually with ctrl-alt-f-keys worked, so just try switching back.

Once the screen goes into sleep mode I can no longer interact with the pc. I have to hard reset the pc to get the screen to wake up.

I can switch between GUI login screen and tty3 prompt. Until I try and log in. Then monitor goes sleep mode and I need to restart the pc.

Can you ssh to it?

It it is really a crash, what does the log say?

Yes, that is likely issue from HDR. Create a new user and recheck.

Yeah it’s definitely the HDR setting.
Created a new user and Wayland booted fine.
edit:
I edited kwinoutputconfig.json and switch HDR and wide color gamut to ‘false’.
I still get the error when I log out and in again on Wayland.
I rebooted and check the file and it’s back to ‘true’ for those settings.

You might want to delete the kwinrc
