Mesa 26.1.0-1 Crashes X11 after Login

Immediately after the Cinnamon desktop loads it crashes and reverts back to the login screen. Downgrading Mesa to previous version 26.0.6 is a temporary solution that resolves it.

This issue is caused by Xorg crashing with mesa 26.1.0-1, and it only affects integrated Intel Graphics systems. The mesa developer is working on it.

Via the gitlab mesa work items [#15435] & [#15446] the probable cause is in the CachyOS mesa 26.1.0-1 PKGBUILD with the new addition of ‘intel-virtio-experimental’ true. The Alpine Linux build log for mesa 26.1.0-r0 shows ‘intel-virtio-experimental’ false has no Xorg crash.

This issue has been fixed upstream for next version release.
