Has anyone successfully ran the mod manager for Mass Effect on CachyOS?
I know it’s not officially supported on Linux and I have read comments and posts with varied degrees of success.
did you try protontricks? you can install extra applications into a games proton prefix with it.
I haven’t used this one specifically, but I’ve used other windows mod managers like Vortex. My favorite way of handling them is using Lutris as the launcher for the mod manager. Navigating the directories is annoying with the wine browser but otherwise it works great.
I’ll give it a try with Lutris.
I’m updating my CPU from a 5600X to a 5700X3D, just because I already bought it and it’s a cheaper upgrade than going AM5, and might do a full install of CachyOS again. So might be a while before I try again.
