Manba One controller not working

Hello,

recently I got my hands on Manba One controller (wireless/wired combo), but I cannot get it work under CachyOS… From what I saw a video review of Linux experience, it worked out-of-the-box on Garuda.

I can see Controller device connecting, but I cannot find any new device nodes for the controller and of course Steam does not see it.

Can loaded xone kernel module somewhat interfere with other controllers? Could not find any info about that.

Self solved - xone dkms module was indeed the culprit. after unloading all parts of xone (or uninstalling and rebooting) the controller works just fine:
