is there a guide to install on macbook air Model A1466 . or is it to old to install Cachyos .. try to install it but no luck

cannot get past login screen .. on fresh install no key working 
im getting Zorin 18.1 working .. only webcam is the problem ..
Attention! The current custom kernels from CachyOS do not work. You must use a regular Linux kernel.
