Login screen crashes/freezes blank screen

I am having a really weird issue, I just recently fresh installed CachyOS and when I boot my PC the log-in screen pops up for a few seconds and when I go to type my password in the screen goes blank/black and I am able to move my but have to hard reset and quickly enter my password before it happens again. I ran:

I did add amdgpu.runpm=0 to BOOT_IMAGE But not sure if this will help.

This is also happening when I walk away from my PC and come back and try to log back into CachyOS

I think there was an update for plasma-login yesterday, maybe that’s the problem

Try reverting the package or boot using a snapshot before the update.

Thanks for the response but I installed cachyOS last week and it has been happening since then.
