A small sneak peek of the Linux Gaming Handbook me and my friend have been working on over the past few weeks.
We started it as a beginner Linux gaming guide, which slowly evolved into a structured beginner focused handbook covering Linux fundamentals, installation, the terminal, package management, permissions, and gaming setup. No usage of AI was involved.
The handbook is being written collaboratively:
- technical/Linux side by u/Significant-Wrap-589
- LaTeX typesetting and document design by u/MurkyUnit3180 (Me)
Currently:
- 37 pages
- 2200+ lines of LaTeX
- actively maintained through GitHub
We would appreciate feedback, suggestions, and criticism before the first public release.
