Kezboard layout switched to EN after update

Hi there, I am the FNG.

I do not know if this is the right sub/forum.

I did an update two days ago and since then my keyboard layout went from GER to EN. I alreadz checked the options regarding localization, changed them to EN and back to GER again, but nothing had an effect.

Is there someone who might have an idea how to get my language keyboard settings back?

I did the search (shortly), but obviously not for the right words. “layout” never came into my mind until I started this topic. Did miss the forest for the tree…

Yeah, it’s often the hardest part to know the right terms to search for. Which is why i set all my devices to English whenever possible, because that leaves you with the “better” error messages.
