KDE: System monitor plasmoid shows wrong GPU stats since last update

I did a system update yesterday, and this morning I realize that the System Monitor Plasmoid gives a steady 0 for both Usage and Power of GPU:

Also, a steady 78MB of used VRAM and some 30°C seem pretty unbelievable… This is how it looked before:

To answer my own question: it seems like GPU1 and GPU2 have “changed”, so what was my dedicated GPU is now my integrated GPU and vice versa.

How might this have happened and how can I avoid it in the future?

Well, it happened again yesterday after another KDE update :frowning: I guess this will be a recurring nuisance…
