KDE Plasma 6.6.4 Panel and WiFi very slow to load after login

Hello CachyOS Team,

I have been using CachyOS for a couple of months and it was running incredibly fast. However, recently I’ve started facing an issue on my HP EliteBook 840 G7.

The Problem: After I turn on the laptop and enter my login details, the system gets stuck. The bottom KDE Plasma panel takes a very long time to appear, and the WiFi also connects very late.

My System Info:

  • OS: CachyOS x86_64

  • DE: KDE Plasma 6.6.4

  • Hardware: HP EliteBook 840 G7

I checked my boot logs, and it seems that systemd-networkd-wait-online.service is taking over 2 minutes, which might be stalling the desktop from loading properly.

Could you please guide me on how to fix this delay so my panel and WiFi can load instantly like before?

You may not need systemd-networkd-wait-online.service (I know I don’t need it) so you can disable it and mask it.

that has been done that is corrected than before this situation but after restart the system is’t fast like before the system i remember after login screen system and pannel show like Eye Blinking!
